About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to help lead a developing yacht charter sales team. The role will be responsible for supporting individual sales people in the establishment and growth of the EMEA markets, focused on bareboat and cabin charters, as well as handling a share of direct DYC clients. It will require versatility, as our team members cover many aspects of the company’s running; from handling ongoing leads and enquiries to dealing with after sales questions to promote best in class customer service.

The team handles circa 8,000 enquiries per year, with revenue targets in excess of €16.5M. The workload will need sharing amongst the team, whilst accountability for consistency of service will sit with the Sales Manager.

We attend several Boat Shows throughout the year, so this role will have you attending and meeting new clients face to face. Boat Shows will require travel away from home.

Main Duties of our Yacht Charter Sales Team Leader

 

TEAM:

  • Manage the dispatch of enquiries to balance the sales team’s work load
  • Be first point of contact for sales questions
  • Ensure correct staffing levels at all times
  • Effective time management to ensure daily tasks are achieved whilst maintaining support and KPI supervision of the team

 

SALES:

  • Handling ongoing leads
  • Generating new leads through live chat as well as a database of past bookers and enquirers
  • Maintaining synchronisation of enquiries in the CRM and the reservation system
  • Assisting in marketing ideas to generate new business
  • Monthly reporting of sales

 

AFTER SALES:

  • Ensure a smooth transition between sales and aftersales and work with the Aftersales Team Leader to guarantee best in class customer experience
  • Assist in answering clients’ after sales requests and questions by email
  • Ensuring all extra requests are booked, confirmed with bases and updated in the systems
  • Help chasing clients for crew lists, sailing licenses and contracts
  • Help chasing and processing balance payments
